Central Florida Community College is accepting enrollments for a 120-hour Certified Nursing Assistant program. The CNA program is a great first step to a health care career. Central Florida Community College has scholarship funds available for the Certified Nursing Assistant program.
The 120-hour program prepares students for work as a nursing assistant in nursing homes and hospitals. The course covers basic nursing care procedures and provides clinical practice in both the skills lab and in the nursing home setting.
The scholarship application must be submitted by March 19 to begin the next course on April 3

The CNA program prepares students to work in the health care field as nursing assistants and to take and pass the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant exam. It consists of 80 hours of classroom and lab training as well as 40 hours of clinical experience in a local health care facility. Classes are held at the Levy Center, 114 Rodgers Blvd. in Chiefland, with clinical experience taking place at Ayres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton.
