The mission of the Nursing Department at Faulkner State Community College is to develop knowledgeable, competent,caring, and culturally sensitive licensed nurses.
These individuals will be prepared to function in the provision and management of nursing care and as members of the nursing profession will make sound decisions based on critical thinking, and will engage in safe and effective skilled nursing practices as defined by law and will function in a variety of healthcare settings.
