Sterile Technician Training and Career Path

The job is an entry-level position – usually only a high school diploma is required. Manual dexterity and desire to work with machines is a plus. Workers must have short term on-the job training to gain the necessary skills for this occupation. However, those with related work experience have a competitive advantage in this labor market.

1. Work authorization
2. Records of education, and past work experience relating to the job. A well put together resume, official (or even unofficial) transcripts, and references will go a long way.
3. Be able to demonstrate a basic proficiency in English – at least enough to communicate with co-workers and managers.
