Closed door Pharmacy Technician is an organized, goal-oriented professional who can multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Closed-door pharmacies also provide special services to patients with special needs and the facilities that care for them. A Closed Door Pharmacy may include pharmacies owned by any city, county or state government and federally, state or privately funded non-profit community health clinics.
Closed Door Pharmacy Techs Responsibilities include:
-interact with customers via telephone
-prepare, package, and distribute medications
-complete paperwork and computer related duties
-check equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular daily basis
-keep supplies current and replenished
-select appropriate packing materials
Pharmacy Assistants help a pharmacy with administrative duties. They must have above average PC skills including hands-on experience with Windows.
