Accelerated Second Degree Programs in Michigan. “Accelerated” nursing programs are designed for students who have already received baccalaureate degrees in non-nursing majors.
Grand Valley State University has a BSN program for students with a degree in another field, called the Accelerated Second Degree Program and students complete it in one calendar year if they have the prerequisites.

Lansing Community College: an Accelerated RN Program at LCC, 14-month program to complete Associate Degree in Applied Science. Candidates must have completed all general education courses and have a bachelor degree to be eligible.

Wayne State University:The Second Career/Second Degree program is designed for individuals who have completed their undergraduate studies in another field but wish to pursue a career in nursing. Admission is done once per year, for the fall semester, and students must have prerequisites complete and submitted by the deadline to be considered for admission.
