There are many nursing organization and agencies that are representing different minorities in America. The National Association of Hispanic Nurses is a non-profit organization, and it is the only national organization representing Latino nurses.
The basic purpose of NAHN is to save the interests and rights of Hispanic nurses. The National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) was founded in 1975. Today this organization has chapters across the United States. It is a well developed and well established nursing association that has power and voice to provide the Hispanic nurses equal opportunities. The association supports Hispanic nurses in different fields and offers education options and opportunities for its members.
