What Does Pediatric Medical Assistant Do?
-Helps with patient/family education.
-Orders and receives medical supplies.
-Provides advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow.
-Performs associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones.
-Instructs and assists patients in the collection of specimens.
-Processes, any specimens, which require special handling.
-Record patient height, weight, and chief complaints during office visits.
-Triage patient calls

Pediatric Medical Assistant Training
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
CPR certification required
Working knowledge of medical terminology
